These days, it can be difficult to find time to pry yourself away from all your responsibilities, so you can truly enjoy your holidays. Not only do you have to shop for presents, prepare the house for visitors, and make a ton of food, but you also have to tend to your everyday daily duties. But when you’re working that hard, you really do deserve a break, and you can get just that by spending some time at Hunsader Farms for Country Christmas. This is the most festive celebration of the year, and you are bound to have a great time. Check out what to expect, so you can make plans to attend.

The Basics

So, you already know that this event is taking place at Hunsader Farms. But do you know when to go? This year, the attractions are open on Dec. 14, 15, and 16 as well as Dec. 21, 22, and 23. On all six days, the farms will be open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. for your enjoyment. Admission is only $10 unless you have little ones who are under 5 years of age. It will be completely free for them. Just make sure you bring cash – that’s all they accept for admission. Oh, and parking is free, so don’t worry about having to shell out some cash just to find a place to put your car.

What to Expect

Basically, Country Christmas at Hunsader Farms is an all-out Christmas festival with just about everything you could want to celebrate the season. The over 300,000 lights are going to wow you as you walk through the grounds, and you can even get a hayride or a train ride, so you can really enjoy it all. The little ones will love telling Santa what they want for Christmas this year, while adults will want to take some time to listen to the live bands playing there.

There will also be campfires, a display Christmas village, a petting zoo, and movies on the big screen. You also don’t have to worry about getting hungry when you attend. You can buy dinner there, but make sure you save some room for kettle corn, ice cream, warm pretzels, hot chocolate, and s’mores. And yes – it’s just as good as it sounds.

After eating all that food, you’re probably just going to want to get in your car and head home so you can rest and digest. At Venice Toyota in Venice, Florida, we’d be more than happy to help you find the right ride.
